The F5 Certified! Technical Specialist (F5-CTS) designation is applied to individuals qualified to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced F5 product features enhancing the effectiveness of an application delivery network. They also deeply understand the underlying principles and technologies sufficient to integrate with other platforms and products, compromising a complete enterprise application delivery solution. The F5-CTS is available with specializations for BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM), BIG-IP DNS, BIG-IP Application Security Manager (ASM), and BIG-IP Access Policy Manager (APM).

Designed for operational roles, these individuals have a basic understanding of the fundamental concepts, configurations, and processes necessary to maintain a healthy installation, identify aberrant behavior, and provide basic fault isolation to assist senior engineers in correcting malfunctions. The F5-CA is available in a specialization for F5 BIG-IP devices.
