Answer:
When we migrated to the current candidate portal (2016), we sent emails to all registered users with instructions for reclaiming their accounts on the new system. Unfortunately, many of those accounts had invalid email accounts preventing us from reaching all candidates.
When these candidates attempt to login to the system, they have difficulty doing so. Why can't I login to the F5 Candidate Portal?
If this is your situation, you may still reclaim your account:
If you know, and have access to the email associated with your account:
Select "Email" from the dropdown menu and enter your email address.
If you do not know, or have access to, the email associated with your account, but know your F5 Candidate ID:
Select "Username“ from the dropdown menu and enter your F5 Candidate ID (ex. F5000012345) and press submit.
You will receive an email from the F5 Candidate Portal at the designated email address.
- Click on the link provided
- Enter your new password and password clues
- Click the link that appears on the screen
- Log in with your F5 Candidate ID and your new password
- Read and submit the candidate agreement and you’ll be directed to the new Candidate Portal home page.
You will now have reclaimed your account and have access to the candidate portal.

Go to the First Time Login page:
Use the appropriate selection from the dropdown menu (email or User ID) to help the system identify your account and click the "submit" button.
You will receive an email from the system, click the link in the email and complete setting your password and updating your demographic information.
