To reset your F5 candidate portal password, simply go to the F5 Candidate Portal, click the "forgot your password or sign in ID" link and follow the directions to reset your password either by using your Candidate ID, or the email address you used to register with the program.
If you know your email address, the same process will allow you to recover your F5 candidate ID.
Go to the Candidate portal and click the "forgot password" link.
You may use either the email address or your Username (F5 Candidate ID, ex. F5000012345) to initiate the recovery process.
When you click "submit" you should see a notice at the top of the form similar to this:
and will receive an email from the system like this:
This email contains your F5 Candidate ID ("Login ID"), as well as a URL to reset your password. Click the URL to reset your password and then login to the system using your F5 Candidate ID as your Login ID and your new password.
If you cannot remember either the email address, or the candidate ID, OR you do not have access to the email we have on file, please open a support ticket to get assistance.
- As the notice states, the email may not come immediately and because of the active URL in the message, it may be flagged as SPAM/Junk. Please allow some time for the email to be sent, and check your SPAM/Junk folders;
- The link in the email will expire within six(6) hours of being sent. If you do not complete the process within that time, you will have to restart the process; and,
- The URL link is tied to the browser session that created the request. DO NOT close your browser once you have clicked "submit" and make sure that the link is opened within that same browser (it often helps to cut-n-paste the link directly into the same browser window you submitted the request through).
