- How many NGINX Certification beta exams are there?
- There are four NGINX Certification beta exams.

- There are four NGINX Certification beta exams.
- Do the exams have to be taken in a specific order?
- No. The exams can be taken in any order.
- Are there pre-requisites for the NGNIX beta exams?
- No. There are no pre-requisites.
- What are the dates that the beta is open?
- August 22 – September 22, 2023.
- How much do the beta exams cost?
- There is no cost to the candidates who have been invited to take the beta exams.
- Unique vouchers have been provided and assigned to the candidates who’ve been invited to participate. Vouchers are valued at $50 USD and can ONLY be used by the candidate that they were assigned to.
- Can I give my beta exam vouchers to another person?
- No. The beta exam vouchers have been assigned to you and may not be shared with anyone else.
- F5 Certification will confirm that the candidate who was assigned the voucher is the candidate who used the voucher.
- Improper sharing of NGINX beta vouchers is a violation of the F5 Certification candidate agreement.
- Can anyone take the beta exams?
- The F5 Certification program is global and open to everyone who joins the F5 Certification program. However, participating in the NGINX Certification beta is by invitation only.
- If you, or your colleagues would like to be invited, please request an invitation by emailing: support@mail.education.f5.com.
- NGINX Certification beta exams are available to those candidates who have:
- Agreed to the F5 Certification Candidate Agreement.
- Confirmed their valid F5 Certification Candidate ID.
- Received an official invitation to take the NGINX Certification beta exams.
- Is there a limit of beta participants?
- Yes. There is a limit of 50 beta participant candidates.
- F5 Certification make every effort to extend invitations to everyone who sends us a request to participate. Please email support@mail.education.f5.com to receive an invitation if a spot becomes available.
- If you are unable to take any or all of the beta exams, please email support@mail.education.f5.com so that we can invite other volunteers and reallocate your voucher(s) to a candidate who is able to take the beta exams.
Scheduling Your NGINX Certification Beta Exam
- How do I schedule my beta exam?
- Go to: https://www.certiverse.com/#/store/F5 as directed in your invitation email.
- Select one of the four available NGINX Certification beta exams
- Click on GET STARTED
- If you do not have a Certiverse account
- Click on SIGN UP (this is a one-time requirement)
- The preferred method to SIGN UP is to use a personal email address that you will always have access to and add a password.
- If you do have a Certiverse account (you’ve written/reviewed exam questions, or have already registered with Certiverse),
- Click on LOG IN
- Provide your credentials and proceed to the Scheduling Page
- When you are on the Scheduling page, confirm that your schedule permits to take the exam within the three-day allocated delivery window. If you are NOT able to take the exam during that time, cancel and repeat the steps at a time when you are able to take the exam.
- Click NEXT to the Review & Payment page.
While on the Payment page, simply scroll down to the bottom of the page and input one of the vouchers that was sent to you through the invitation email into the designated "VOUCHER CODE" field. Feel free to use any voucher for any beta exam.
- Click CONFIRM
- If you are not taking your exam immediately, you can view your exams on the MY RESERVATIONS tab at the top of the page.
- Start your exam.
- What happens if I redeem my voucher for an exam, but do not take it during the three-day exam delivery window?
- The voucher will no longer be usable .
- Beta exam vouchers are valued at $50 USD.
- Please do your best to set aside time to take your exams.
- Redeeming beta exam vouchers and not using them is equal to an exam “no-show” and F5 is charged for them.
NGINX Certification Beta Exam Taking Experience
- How are the beta exams delivered?
- The beta exams are delivered online with a live proctor via Certiverse, F5’s preferred exam delivery vendor.

- Why aren’t the NGINX Beta exams available on the Certiverse homepage?
- The F5 Certification program is a closed program. Therefore, the NGINX Certification Beta exams will not appear on the Certiverse homepage.
- Beta participation is by invitation only. Candidates who have volunteered will receive an official invitation with a URL that will give them access to take the beta exams, and vouchers to pay for the exams.
- What is the format of the beta exams?
- The beta exams are multiple choice.
- Some of the questions have exhibits. We recommend you review the entire question and all of the exhibit to answer the question.
- Most of the beta questions are “select one correct answer,” however there are some beta questions that will prompt you to “select two correct answers.” You must select two correct answers to get credit for that question. Partial credit is not given.
- What is the NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) Reminder screen mean?
- As an F5 Certified candidate, you have agreed to the rules established by our program.
- To start your exam, you must AGREE to the F5 Certified Candidate agreement. If you DECLINE, the exam session will end.
- How long are each of the beta exams?
- The beta exams have up to 60 questions.
- The beta exams are 60 minutes in duration. Exam time will start when the first question appears on your screen.
- There are no time extensions for beta exams.
- Can I flag questions for review?
- Yes, you can flag items for review to change at the end of the exam. However, the exam clock will not stop.
- Can I skip questions?
- No, you cannot skip questions. You must answer the question to advance to the next question.
- You can answer the question and flag it to review it and change it at the end of the exam.
- Can I change my answers to the questions?
- Yes. You can change it while you are answering the question. You can also flag it to review at the end of the exam and change it then.
- What language are the beta exams in?
- English
- Can I provide feedback to the beta exams.
- Yes. You can add comments to each of the questions, but the exam clock will not stop. Your feedback is valuable and F5 Certification reviews all comments.
- You can also email support@mail.education.f5.com with general feedback. Please do not email exam content in your feedback.
- Can I retake the beta exams?
- No. You cannot retake the NGINX beta exams.
- You can retake the NGINX exam when it is released as a “scored” exam after the beta results have been processed and the scored version is published. This can take up to 30 days after the beta closes.
NGINX Certification Beta Exam Results
- Are the beta exams scored?
- Yes. Beta exams will be scored after the beta closes and all of the data from the beta exams has been analyzed.
- The process of scoring exams and processing the results may take up to 30 days after the beta period concludes. (The NGINX beta is schedule to close on September 22, 2023)
- If you do not pass all exams during the beta, you will be able to take the scored version of the exams once they are published to continue
- Do the beta exams count toward an NGINX certification?
- Yes. If you pass all four exams, you will achieve an NGINX Certification.
- If you do not pass all of the exams during the beta, you will be able to take the scored version of the exams once they’re published to continue to work toward achieving your NGINX Certification.
