It is our understanding that GI Bill benefits would cover tuition, but for-profit vendor training is not eligible. Although we can’t be paid directly by the government for the training, it may be possible for you to get a lump sum payment to use towards non-degree programs. Refer to the section on Accelerated Payments for High Technology Programs on this VA webpage: https://www.va.gov/education/about-gi-bill-benefits/how-to-use-benefits/
We do offer some free self-directed training, the F5 Getting Started series, on our learning portal LearnF5. First-time users can register for a free account here: https://account.f5.com/learnf5/signin/register
In addition to our F5 Getting Started series, we also recommend these other free online resources to supplement your other training and hands-on experience:
- MyF5 includes printable General Solution documents, Release Notes, Known Issues articles, Security Advisories, Best Practices, and Manuals. https://my.f5.com
- Our DevCentral site has forums, wikis, blogs, and videos on a wide range of topics. https://devcentral.f5.com/
For students new to F5, we recommend our free F5 Getting Started series to introduce our different products. For premium, paid training, the recommended first instructor-led class is Administering BIG-IP. Or if you prefer self-directed training, the equivalent curriculum is called Digital Education: BIG-IP Fundamentals.
