The F5 Certified team is ending its partnership with Prometric, one of our test delivery vendors. This will be effective 31 December 2022. After this 31 date candidates will no longer have the ability to schedule exams using Prometric. Before we terminate the partnership, steps have been taken to ensure candidates’ exam data will be transferred to Certmetrics from this test provider. We do not anticipate any problems with candidates’ information as we have set parameters before and after the termination takes place to ensure no data is lost.
Currently, candidates can sign into their Candidate portal accounts and make a selection to schedule their exams via Pearson VUE or Prometric. After 31 December, the button to schedule, reschedule or cancel an exam with Prometric will be removed.
Starting January 1, 2023, all F5 Certification exams will be delivered through Pearson VUE only. The last day for candidates to complete an exam appointment through Prometric is 31 December 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PST
The Certification team has also made preparations to replace the Prometric voucher for candidates who may have purchased or obtained a voucher from Prometric prior to the discontinuation of services with Prometric. These candidates may have their vouchers exchanged for a Pearson Vue voucher.
Pearson VUE currently has more than 5,000 authorized test centers in more than 165 countries. Candidates can find a Pearson VUE Authorized test center near them by visiting https://home.pearsonvue.com/Clients/F5.aspx and selecting “Find a test center”.

Overview of Exam Scheduling changes
Starting 1 January 2023, all F5 Certification exams will be delivered only through Pearson VUE. Pearson VUE has been delivering F5 Certification exams since 2012 through their worldwide network of thousands of test centers.

No, the exam cost will remain the same at Pearson VUE.
Scheduling an Exam
- When is the last day I can take an exam with Prometric?
The last day a candidate can take an exam with Prometric is 31 December 2022. Candidate planning to take their exams on/after 1 January 2023, must schedule their exams with Pearson VUE.
- What if I have an exam scheduled with Prometric?
If a candidate has an exam scheduled to take place on or before 31 December 2022 with Prometric, no action is required. If your exam is scheduled at Prometric on or after 1 January 2023, then Prometric will cancel the candidate’s exam.
- Can I obtain a receipt from Prometric after 31 December 2022?
Yes, candidates must contact Prometric Customer Support Services directly https://www.prometric.com/contact-us or https://www.prometric.com/test-takers/search/f5
- Will I be able to use their existing Prometric vouchers?
Yes, candidates will be able to use their Prometric vouchers to take an exam with Prometric through 31 December 2022. After this date, if the candidate still has an outstanding Prometric voucher, they contact the F5 Certified Team at firstname.lastname@example.org and the team will work on a case-by-case basis to determine if the Prometric voucher is eligible for exchange to a Pearson VUE voucher.
- Can I use my Prometric voucher at Pearson VUE?
Starting 31 December 2022, all unused Prometric vouchers distributed by the F5 Certified program may be eligible for an exchange for a Pearson VUE voucher. Please contact the F5 Certified team for a voucher exchange. Prometric will not accept any vouchers or appointments after 31 December 2022.
